The TikTok Social Media Platform and More Are Now Banned In The United States

Well, they said it would be banned and here we are. TikTok is effectively inaccessible in the United States of America to protect our interests and for National Security sake. You’re seeing this notice super early in the morning if you’re still awake but I can say that I lost access to my account at around 10PM EST after I had updated the profile just a little bit. Let’s review the timeline of this.

The Timeline:
4/23/2024: The Senate passed legislation to force the Chinese owned TikTok to be sold to a US Owner or be banned in the coming months.
4/24: President Biden signs the legislation for TikTok to be banned in the United States unless its sold by ByteDance to a US owner.
1/17/25: Supreme Court Unanimously upholds the Federal Law to ban TikTok with only hours to go before its Official Ban Date.
1/18/2025: TikTok goes offline in the United States. A few hours on the day before it was supposed to. A message seen on the application informs its 170M strong user base that now President Donald Trump would look to working on solution to resolve this.

Ken Pierce Media Posts 900th Clip on TikTok

Greetings my dear friends out there in TikTok land, I am saying a loud but also a little bit sad “Welcome Back” for while I have yet again achieved another “50” post plateau on the platform, this could very well be our last one based on the US ban that is now less than a couple of weeks away. There are now “900” videos on the TikTok for Ken Pierce Media and while these never generated any real website traffic vibe, they have done rather well on the platform itself. The funny thing is I usually mentally map out a post like this with something that is right on point with my passions. So something comic book, KISS or maybe even Godzilla to have it be easier to talk about but since I was so busy doing the Christmas tree videos I lost count and then realized that a few videos from the past summers Anime NYC were not online and that led me to having the awesome artist King Guro aka Kris Starlein be the 900th TikTok video on Ken Pierce Media’s profile.

Ken Pierce Media Posts 850th Clip on TikTok

Greetings friends and those who are TikTokking along with the Ken Pierce Media profile on the TikTok platform. I’ve hit another plateau and reached the increment a little faster as I had expected since I was doing more than one clip per day. Effective immediately there are now a grand total of “850” videos on the account and this latest one comes from a recent visit to the Five Below store not far from Union Square. I was off to an art event at the time and it was here that I managed to get my hands on the complete set of Janda’s “Transformers” MetalFigs. There are only four of them and since they had the lot and for such a nice price I could not resist. You can see for yourself as I proudly present the 850th TikTok from Ken Pierce Media.

Well hello again my friends and “Welcome Back” to our occasionally popping up series about the Official Ken Pierce Media TikTok profile. Dedicated readers already know this but for the newbies in the room who have just arrived I do his for each increment of “50” posts. It’s almost hard to believe that I am now at “800” videos on TikTok because it was a platform that I never really wanted to begin using in the first place. Since the time of my first creating a profile, which was in 2021, it would take more than a year before I even used it. Longtime readers of the stuff happening on PiercingMetal will be amused at the clip that arrived for this plateau since its a hefty tome that is all about “The Hottest Band In The World” KISS. This is a Quarto Book by Martin Popoff and takes the reader through KISStory. They are my very favorite band ever and now here’s the 800th TikTok from Ken Pierce Media.

Ken Pierce Media Celebrates Second Year On TikTok

Hey there my friends, its time for me to take a moment out of the day to share some fun social media platform news with you all as it applies to this Ken Pierce Media outlet. By now you probably are fully aware of our presence on the TikTok platform because every time I hit an increment of “50” posts, I am making sure to reflect on the post and spotlight something else that I want you to see. Today I’m here to tell you that we just reached our second year of usage of this network. Back when I spoke about the first jump into TikTok it was with the reveal of the New York Comic Con press badge and while I was hoping that the timing would be in sync this year it was not. I’ve been approved for that convention for months but I am still waiting on the badge to be mailed out. This year there was a post made on the actual anniversary day and its from when I attended the TTPM Holiday Showcase. In this video I offer up a quick spotlight on some of the Playmates Toys products that were brought to the show. Our favorites from this company fall to the Godzilla X Kong stuff and of course the legendary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
