This narrative is a new kind of broadcast for me and is going to share one of the year-end rundowns that was received. I don’t know how many of you use the Reddit network but I’ve been signed up for a couple of years now and will admit that I’m still a bit of a novice. That being said, here are the screen grabs of the rundown from last year. I hope you enjoy it. I like their notion of looking back and moving forward in their service.
Back in March, the PiercingMetal outlet celebrated its 12th Twitterversary (discussed HERE) and now as the 2021 year draws to a close its time to do the same for our still growing Ken Pierce Media. Today that outlet celebrates its first year of using Twitter.
As previously reported, PiercingMetal was in attendance at the 2021 New York Comic Con and in addition to the in-depth coverage we were extensively utilizing our Official Instagram. Learn more on the website by clicking HERE.
It was back in early July when this Ken Pierce Media dotcom had achieved a posting milestone of 5000 Posts. This would happen only a month after its first anniversary and was discussed HERE for those who wish some larger insight. Today, the original “source material’ that this blog stemmed from over on Tumblr achieved its own 5000th post. The reason the website hit that number first was based on a more robust inclusion of the Instagram profiles than I opt to share over to Tumblr. Perhaps that will change since the more we post the more chance there is to see the profiles.
Some of our readers might remember that the Tumblr originally belonged to the PiercingMetal site but when Automattic purchased them it made more sense to rebrand it to Ken Pierce Media and have that facilitate both of the websites to widen the circle of influence. When I discussed Tumblr with another media person they felt it was a dead network but its actually not at all. I still see traffic on both sites from here and have decided to keep the account in play until Automattic feels that its time to sunset. As of September 5th I will have been using Tumblr for 12 years so why stop now. If you use this network at all I encourage your participation and hope that you will scroll through our posts and click the like option. The larger the audience gets the easier it is to bring you more and more exciting stuff which I absolutely love doing. Thanks for listening and your support. See you next time.
Greetings my friends and welcome to a shiny new announcement that celebrates my creative worlds use of the Tumblr micro-blogging network. Earlier today I received an email that said that “Ken Pierce Media Turned 12 Today” and if you are one of the diehards who has been paying attention over the last few months you will know that this isn’t correct at all. As an idea, Ken Pierce Media is only one full year old but I have been using Tumblr for “12” years and began doing so for the PiercingMetal website and its assorted social networks. Back in the earliest days of this network it would allow a very streamlined integration of Twitter and Facebook so it was another means of reaching an audience which is never a bad thing to do.
