Ken Pierce Media Posts 300th Clip on TikTok

According to my posting history, I announced that Ken Pierce Media had a profile on the TikTok network in April of 2022 but it would be about five months later before I actually used it for anything related to brand. I am fairly certain that I had it a bit longer but with my first posting being in September 2022, that is the date that I consider to be the official anniversary of Ken Pierce Media on TikTok. Since that time I’ve used the network considerably and with each increment of “50” I pause to celebrate its continued use as we aim to raise awareness of the adventures of PiercingMetal, The Chronicles of Piercing Ken and of course Ken Pierce Media. Though I hesitated about ever being caught up in such a network I am here once more to celebrate its use and announce that I have reached clip “300”. This clip is very close to our first-ever clip as it celebrates the arrival of the much-desired New York Comic Con press badge.

It’s without question that I was very happy to be showcasing the arrival of the NYCC badge because its an event that I enjoy attending and get a lot of media work done at. Last year I think I posted “45” posts, recorded about “20” video interviews and shared just shy of “1000” photos on assorted social media platforms. Having clip number 300 be related to the convention was also amusing because I’ve gotten a little better at this platform since the first clip which was also NYCC in theme. I still don’t know how to do all the crazy bells and whistles stuff but right now that is fine for me. Now before wrapping this announcement up I was to change the dynamic of how I’ve been closing this kind of post. For the past batch of incremental announcements I was showcasing our very first video but now that this one has come full cirlce I’ve decided to share a favorite clip or one that has been doing super well on TikTok in terms of views. The favorite clip for this post comes from the Metallica Pop-Up Store in Brooklyn from about a month ago when the legendary band was visiting our region.

Coming at you live from the Metallica Pop-Up Store in Brooklyn, Part 2. Only open this weekend to celebrate the bands tour arriving at MetLife Stadium #fyp #foryoupage #metallica #metallicatakeover #popupstore #andshoppingforall 😉

For those in the unaware, the last few times that Metallica has hit the masses with their tour they launch a special “Pop-Up Store” that has a whole lot of awesome band related merchandise and a lot of it is only available at these shops. When they performed at the MetLife Stadium, a store was set up at the nearby mall and one in Downtown Brooklyn. I visited the Brooklyn space and did a one minute exploration for the purposes of short form video. Bear in mind that said Pop-Up is only open for the days that the band would be in town so this one would open on Friday and close on Sunday when the second night of their appearances took place. This clip did gangbusters for the profile and at the time of this announcement has achieved more than 6.5K views. The only downside is that the likes of this clip don’t equal that as well but such is the life in the world of TikTok posts. Poeple scroll through feeds somewhat endlessly and so few take the extra second to like the clips. I do that for all of the videos I watch because I know that it helps the engagement and yet with that being said 6.5K views is nothing to sneeze at for me. The profile still needs to reach “200” Followers but I am in no rush on that since we’ve no stake in the TT game like some others we know. The likes continue to climb but please know that if you do watch our content that you are being super helpful and dedicated by liking them as well since that generates a little more visibility. We also love comments and I answer all the legitimate ones when I see them. I’ll close with the now standard viewpoint that I very much appreciate the time you spend scrolling through our feed and look forward to making more and more videos and perhaps even getting more creative with them. See you next time.

Elon Musk Has Rebranded “Twitter” To “X”

Just a little while ago, I was breezing through one of the Twitter feeds for my websites and noticed that the time honored symbol of “The Twitter Bird” was gone and in its place was instead an “X”. I know. This seems kind of shocking, but for the last few months Elon has been doing all sorts of weird and wild things with his new company. Seeing this made me head over to the profile of the social network’s own Commander Elon Musk and this was the “Tweet” that he had made.

For me this is rather jarring because it doesn’t make much sense and I feel like I am starting all over again. I know Musk now owns the company and was out to “fix” it but leave the working things alone. This kind of change seems unnecessary and dare I even say petty and stupid. Stop more bots, get rid of spammer accounts and maybe even limit the ability to tweet every five seconds which some people do. Now this is coming from someone who isn’t the biggest advocate or user of the medium. I’ve tried to make it work for brand but no matter what I would post or “tweet”, the amount of Followers and Retweets have not generated much traction or even substantial through traffic to the websites. I will still use this and wonder how long before the mobile devices reflect the “X” and if we are going to still call them “Tweets” so let’s see what happens. I know some out there who are serial tweeters and that’s just annoying while some others are using this with great emphasis to their own outlets and having it help them. Good for those folks I say and maybe I should be more pragmatic about it. That’s all I have to say on this, and I hope the next bit of news from Twitter or “X” will help push this network ahead and be something we all say “Wow” about instead of “Ugh”. My outlets are listed below for the interested and supportive. See you next time.

Ken Pierce Media Posts 250th Clip on TikTok

This might not be news for the more dedicated readers of the Ken Pierce Media website but for the newbies to our offerings I should share that for several months I have been doing an article every time we reach an increment of “50” with the Official TikTok profile. I’m still rather amused at how much I’ve done here because when I first signed up I wasn’t sure that I would be using it at all but here we are at 250 clips. It’s fun that this also comes only a few days after the websites own third anniversary. Clip #250 comes from a recent down south adventure to a place called Pedro’s South Of The Border. It’s a roadside attraction and well, watch and learn a little more.

The South Of The Border space is definitely something interesting to explore if you are out on the road and looking for something to do. In the clip I mentioned that I was not going up into that tower but when I popped into the arcade below it learned it was only $4 to go up to the top and who wants to pass on that kind of thing. It’s not like I will be back here anytime soon. I did record a video of the elevator ride and a brief from up top. I then space them out over time since they not only go to the TikTok once they are done. Before I wrap this one up I’m going to add the very 1st TikTok Clip that was posted because I was still so green to its use. I’m not an expert by far but its been fun to bring the audience right into the moment as its all happening. This first video was the reveal of the New York Comic Con badge for their 2022 event.

Ken Pierce Media Posts 200th Clip on TikTok

For the last few months I’ve been doing a post for every 50th clip that gets placed on the Official Ken Pierce Media TikTok. As you might expect I did one for the very first clip and then one for the 25th clip for good measure and from then on it would be at every 50th addition to this feed. Back when I began using this social network I wasn’t sure how I’d like to approach it but after the 50th came the 100th and then 150th which brings us to this latest achievement. Yes my friends, I have posted my 200th TikTok clip and this one actually happened to come along a little faster than the previous one did and that was because I was not only doing posts from concerts and conventions but I also was hitting a few website and social media milestones. The 200th clip is actually about one of those milestones and lauds the fact that the Official PiercingMetal YouTube is now fifteen years old. I don’t know about you but I think that this news calls for some kind of Internet celebration.
