Ken Pierce Media Celebrates Its First Anniversary (2020-2021)

It was back in June of 2020, during the height of the pandemic that a new creative angle came to my mind. I was finalizing some private consulting for a fellow scribe and their own medium at the time and while they were also a WordPress acolyte, I felt that it might be beneficial to become more accustomed to other means of blogging and that was when I began tinkering with the Google Blogger platform a bit more. Since the best way to learn is to utilize, I launched a blog called Ken Pierce Media and introduced it to the masses (as seen on “The Chronicles” HERE). A lot has happened since that time and today is the first anniversary of that website.

PiercingMetal Celebrates 7,777 Published Posts

Though I’ve mentioned this before, I should remind the readers that one of the things I’m going to be doing here with the Ken Pierce Media outlet is shining a spotlight on special occasions and milestones that happen on either PiercingMetal.com or “The Chronicles” of Piercing Ken and yesterday we hit a really cool one. It was raining in New York City and after a quick lunch with friends I got back to the writing and noticed as I pressed “publish” on the latest post that PiercingMetal had achieved 7,777 posts. Seven thousand seven hundred and seventy seven posts!!! The Information Technology guy in me loves numbers and I found this to be pretty cool. Here’s a graphic representation of that.

Governor Cuomo Announces Reopening Of Entertainment and Sports Arenas On Feb 23rd

new york state graphic

The Press Release:
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced that, building off of the successful Buffalo Bills pilot program, sports and entertainment events in major stadiums and arenas with a capacity of 10,000 or more people can re-open with limited spectators beginning February 23. Following the model established as part of the successful Buffalo Bills pilot program, venues and events must follow similar guidelines, including Department of Health approval for venues and events, capacity limitations, testing requirements, mandatory face coverings, temperature checks, and assigned, socially distanced seating.

The Department of Health’s work to inspect eligible venues statewide is already underway, and thanks to that work, the Barclays Center has been approved to re-open on February 23 for the Brooklyn Nets home game against the Sacramento Kings. The success of this, and similar events in approved venues over the coming weeks will help inform the re-opening process for smaller venues in the future.

Ken Pierce Media Is On LinkedIn

As the Ken Pierce Media idea increases more and more, I’d like to share one of the latest developments in this brand-building process. For many years, I’ve been a user of the LinkedIn network and this is primarily for personal career networking and interaction. Back in 2013, the option was made available to have company pages and while PiercingMetal.com is a website, for all intents and purposes it is a company of sorts. With this website I am not only doing reviews and photography but also media relations, public relations and social network marketing. Periodically I would notice that the general public that I met at the conventions and shows were seeking to connect and using the medium like they would Facebook and this led me to creating an Official LinkedIn Company Page. The new look is below for ease of keeping up with where the narrative is heading. Yep. The long-standing PiercingMetal LinkedIn Company Page is now the brand-spanking new Ken Pierce Media LinkedIn Company Page. It was a very simple switch and I like it.

Ken Pierce Media Is On YouTube

The brand-building for Ken Pierce Media continued through the end of the 2020 and one of the things that we did for this initiative in early December was to create and launch an Official YouTube Channel. I apologize for only announcing it now as the 2021 year launches but there were other pieces of the puzzle that needed to be put in motion before I could do anything with this. A screenshot of the Official YouTube Channel for Ken Pierce Media is below for your perusal. As you can see, there aren’t any videos yet and only a mere handful of subscribers.

In the coming weeks I’ll be putting together the channels first video clip and I think that a good place to start will be with something like I did for both PiercingMetal and “The Chronicles” of Piercing Ken with those “Overview” videos. These are fun to do and help properly showcase the other areas that a brand is using. At this point in time, the Ken Pierce Media initiative has more than a handful of social networks working in tandem to help it grow. Now the thing about YouTube is that you CANNOT properly name a channel until you have 100 subscribers and from there its not until 1000 that your videos can earn you some advertising so please use the links below to visit and help support each of our three different mediums. The PiercingMetal Channel has been online the longest but never really emphasized until a couple of years ago and the other two are less than two months old apiece. We thank you for any of your support on this stuff and remember that we’d love for you to comment and help add to the mix as well. Stay tuned.
