Greetings my dear readers of the Ken Pierce Media website. I’m pausing the regular flow of content with another one of those editorial pieces that I’ve been doing whenever the Official TikTok for KPM reaches another increment of “50” video clips. Truth be told this one came up faster than I even thought it would but when you have major events like the returning Toy Fair and the New York Comic Con happening back to back you tend to jump up in the number of posts. Some might remember my saying that while having this account for a couple of years that we didn’t really use it at all until the NYCC for 2022 and its been steady as she goes since then. So here we are at TikTok clip #400 and lo and behold its from another convention that we would be attending as a member of the press. I didn’t know how I wanted to start doing videos at this one so ended up deciding on right near a photo op after claiming the cool press badge. This is a really awesome convention for those deeply into Anime, Manga and assorted Japanese culture and I was happy to be back for another year of coverage. Historically speaking, I have been part of the media covering this happening since it first began in 2017. Here now is our 400th TikTok Clip.

The plan is to do a lot of similar clips like this at the convention and to keep them under the 60 second mark despite being allowed to have longer TikTok clips at this time. Most of you already know that in addition to using TikTok, I am using both Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts and with the last one you can only have a clip that’s under 60 seconds at this time. When that gets longer, if it ever does I will look into doing slightly longer quick videos. Stay tuned to this feed to see whatever else comes from Anime NYC 2023. Now onto the next clips that you see presented down below. In a couple of my recent other milestone announcements I was showcasing a clip or too that did wonderful in terms of the number of views. This time around I want to spotlight a pair of videos that had barely any traction after being posted and some investigation into the matter found me realizing that I had been shadowbanned for some reason. Generally speaking, when I post a clip to this network it gets a good 200-300 views before tapering off and yet when these two very unique clips from an exclusive museum event and a specialty trade show went up they had 5 and 6 views after more than 24 hours of being online. Something was not right and since we are not a profile that engages in bad practices or spams anyone it was very annoying to find this being the case. Any audience engagement to the two clips seen below is welcome in terms of view, like and even commenting in. Just be aware that all of our clips are moderated so you won’t see them right away after submitting. As a press entity we can’t have anyone going off the rails or posting problematic links in a comment so I check them all out first. Thanks in advance for any of that.

Looking forward I cannot determine at all when I will reach clip #450 because this is all dependant on what I am in attendance at and what inspires me to do a video of. Sure there will be a bunch from the Anime NYC convention and after that the only things coming up will be the KISS concerts, the Big Apple Comic Con and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I did find out that I was going to see KISS for the second to last show so now I am scrambling to find a ticket for the final one. I am honestly not sure what my mental state will be like as my favorite thing ever calls it a night but I digress. With the BACC I might do clips and the same at the TSO but you never know. One thing that will surely upgrade the number of videos will be the annual Christmas Tree adventure that I do for my “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” website. I did short clips last year and they went over well so why not repeat the process. I’ll wrap this one up by saying thanks to those in the audience who’ve been enjoying this content and helping to support it. The followers are climbing slowly and we’ve surpassed 200 Followers so far. The likes are incrementally growing and we’ve passed the 6.1K mark. It’s very important for you to click the little heart when you see our videos to help them along. The amount of views in total so far is not something that TikTok seems to show the general public and I guess this is to let everyone feel that they are even with one another. I think that they need to add something like this to reflect what people see on YouTube Channels. If someone has 200 followers but 800K views, more people might be moved to following them but hey I am not in these marketing meetings and remain your facilitator of entertainment.
