Greetings and Felicitations my Friends, I’m taking a moment or three out of your busy day to share another of those web-publishing milestones with you all. Before I continue, lets scroll back to July of 2025 when the Ken Pierce Media website published its 6666th Post. I thought it was fun to laud something like that since our original main thing was focused on Metal and it made me think of the classic Iron Maiden song. The last few months since then have been busy and now we have just recently reached the 7000th Post not too far into February and it took about seven months to do that. As the founder and lead creative of the website it’s always a treat for me to see the numbers rise because its a more tangible medium as opposed to something on social media. This year will mark the sixth anniversary of the idea and I will be penning a missive about that in June when said birthday occurs.

Hitting this new web-publishing milestone was pretty cool based on the anniversary in the coming months but one can never predict when and how long the next one will be to reach. Remember that Ken Pierce Media is largely presented as a feed to things that reside on both PiercingMetal and Piercing Ken so if those two sites are busy then a lot is getting shared over here. If they are posting in a slow and steady pace, the KPM outlet is responding in kind. When this idea first came to mind we had imported the Tumblr and that had a lot of social media posts in there and new posts of that kind are more rare in today’s framework. I do like to present a few Instagram posts every now and again but its not as rampant as it used to be when that stuff was automatically shared from one platform to the next. Suffice it to say this website builds very differently from the others and still grows faster than many competing sites.

In addition to the items from the two core websites allowing us to reach this and any upcoming publishing milestones, I am continually editing and cleaning up the content that was imported way back when I had integrated all of the Tumblr posts into WordPress. The downside of this is that its taken so long to do it but the upside is that the posts are still resident here and just not filed properly and don’t look as nice as the rest of it does. Truth be told the most important stuff to do here on Ken Pierce Media is to make sure that all new and current items get a place in this feed over the way back in time legacy stuff. I will get to it but this has become more of a when time permits than an urgent mission initiative. At that time the fear was that Tumblr would be going away and it didn’t at all. It’s just not a popular medium like it was way back in its early days even though its now owned by Automattic, the folks behind WordPress. Anyway, I’ve said too much here and the time is better spent creating more and more content for you to enjoy as well as editing and filing that legacy stuff. We appreciate you taking the time to read it all and for your continued interest in support of this still exponentially growing entity. Down below in the links you’ll find our Official Muck Rack profile which is more for industry types and our Linktree which points out a number of platforms that we can use your help with. See you again with another editorial at the anniversary unless something big comes up before hand. One never knows in the wild world of web-publishing. Cheers.
