Greetings my loyal readers and those who’ve just chanced upon the page from Google or another social media account. We always love your presence here on the world of Ken Pierce Media and I am pausing from the regular posting regimen to share that we have just hit another pretty awesome milestone. Earlier this year, the KPM outlet celebrated its third online anniversary and I discussed that in a post that you can examine by clicking HERE but with that news being in the rear view mirror for a few months now, its time to let you know what is so awesome. Yesterday, Ken Pierce Media published its 6000th post in WordPress.

The last time we discussed a posting milestone was back in July 2021 when the site hit 5K published posts and while it took a little over two years to reach the next milestone, the site is chugging along nicely and no longer only pulling in the content from PiercingMetal and “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” websites. Now it has its own editorial stance if the topic speaks to both of the other two creative sites AND regularly shares the videos that are posted to our family of branded YouTube Channels. I’m no longer integrating the Twitter or Facebook posts unless they are super duper important to branding. Some of you might remember that this WordPress began with the integration of the long-standing Tumblr profile and while I still let the other websites feed over to it for good measure, I never re-imported that content into this official dotcom. Speaking of the Tumblr integration let me briefly touch upon that.

In hindsight I can safely say that the Tumblr integration was probably not the best course of action because the posts had no real format that looked good in WordPress after being imported. Sure they had the proper tags but each of those older posts needed to be curated and filed accordingly into the succinct menu that was built for Ken Pierce Media. When I did that import, I really felt that Tumblr was going to be sunset since its owned by WordPress and well…it still remains. That process did allow me a fun tech how to video which you are most welcome to check out for historical background. Click HERE to enjoy that. Slowly but surely I am dissecting the posts in the Uncategorized section and filing them into PiercingMetal, Piercing Ken, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube Categories. So far all the categories have remained the same but I might swap out the Tumblr one for a TikTok one since there have been more topics speaking to that network since I began to use it than any new Tumblr stuff. Who knows, maybe I will just add one and leave well-enough alone. With that being said this is no longer a mission critical action item for the brand as its more important to keep the new stuff coming in correctly. The more we get done the better the site presents in Google and according to the server logs we have just surpassed 407K Pages Viewed. I’ll try to work on that a little bit each day since it will be nice to have it all presenting in the manner that I envisioned it to be in the first place. I’ll wrap up this announcement now and thank you all once again for being a part of its growing voice. Remember that there are several social media networks to participate on and the ones that are the most helpful are the YouTube, Facebook and TikTok ones. The links are below. Thanks for reading.
