Ken Pierce Media Is Now On Bluesky

Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the Internet, a brand-new social media network arrives and must be investigated a little more deeply. Ladies and gentlemen may I introduce you to “Bluesky”, an app that seems to be created as an answer to all of the numerous changes found over on X (formerly known as Twitter). Below is our very first post on this network and sadly you cannot seem to embed it into WordPress like we had done numerous times with specialized Tweets and Instagram posts.

Now in case some of this sounds interesting to you and you are considering signing up there is a catch at this point in time. One cannot simply sign up if they are interested and instead you must request an invite to join their number. At first I submitted a request of interest and then I saw something that specifically geared towards media outlets like this one and I filled that out as well. Since that time neither request has been honored and we are well past a month. The way that I got in was care of a friend who had invites to share. That is how this works. As you use the network after signing in you get a small number of invitations over time. Since this friend knew I would definitely use it and not waste one of his stockpile invites he shared one. Now my first assessment is that I like the feel of this one but I feel that I will have to remind myself to use it. Right now I only have a couple of followers but if you sign up and wish to help support the initiatives we put out there please do follow the Ken Pierce Media account. As you read this I am not sure how I will be using it and am considering to post the links that you find on the proper KPM WordPress. Doing that will help raise the traffic numbers a little bit as well which is never a bad thing. Lately, Twitter, I mean “X” has been a disaster for my trio of creative properties and to be honest it was never out there helpful in the first place. I won’t leave it like many others have said they would do because I don’t want my brand handles to be usurped in any way. Let’s see what happens and if this one turns out to be better than Mastodon. Sadly that network is like shouting down an empty corridor. No offense to those its working for.
