Greetings my friends, I am excited to share the update that the Toy Association’s annual “Toy Fair” will be launching in just a few short hours at the time of this posting. I’ve actually already left our Creative Command HQ and thanks to the magic of being able to schedule a post I don’t have to worry about the sporadic Internet down below ground on the MTA to make this go live. As you might recall, the general public will not be able to participate in this one and that makes me work a little harder to present you with some coolness. This means I will still be doing double-duty for the PiercingMetal website and “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” for good measure. Most of you know that with anything that goes online with the two creative angles that another post gets added to the executive branch of my Ken Pierce Media site because that really lets me tie everything together for you nice and neatly. I’m always excited when Toy Fair comes around because its a lot of fun but don’t get me wrong it is also a whole lot of work and despite my having a bit of a laser focus, there always seems to be more to do. Another thing I like about the in person trade show is the chance to see all of the reps that I only “see” over email messages. So what are my plans for this year you might be asking.

To answer the question I will admit that I didn’t lock in as many appointments as I thought that I would have before heading in. I do have Bandai Namco, McFarlane Toys and Playmates Toys and on top of that I am waiting on the timing for the Hasbro visit. There are a number of other companies that I will visit as I explore the show floor but those didn’t need me to secure any kind of rigid schedule and a couple of them are hosting their offerings offsite. Those companies will be done if I can re-jigger some of my wanderings. As always I will be focusing on the Kidult collectibles and anything relating to Godzilla and KISS with a whole bunch of superheroes tossed into the mix as well. The readers of our pair of very busy outlets will get to enjoy photographically comprehensive posts that will all be tied together here for the sake of a broader editorial viewpoint. I think I did something like “40” posts between the two sites with the 2025 trade show. I will definitely have one of those Instagram takeover posts and with my having two unique profiles I might do one for each site. There will be tweets on X across the show and I look forward to seeing my true media peers over the charlatans that always seem to be puttering about at this stuff. The influencer influx was very high last year but I won’t say much on that other than continuing to be suspect on just how influential those types actually even are. The link down below will take you to the combined coverage once anything gets posted and while I have not even gotten into the mix yet, I will not disappoint you. Remember that you can help our two main brands in social media via the accounts listed on both of the Official Linktree links found PiercingMetal and Piercing Ken. Social media remains a numbers game and its in your hands to help the needle be moved in this chaotic geography. Now, it’s time for the curatin to be drawn. Let us play….
