Ken Pierce Media Celebrates Its Fifth Anniversary (2020-2025)

Greetings my amazing friends in our readership audience and also hello to those new to the brand who’ve just happened by. It’s time for me to take a pause from the regular proceedings that we’re serving up to let you know that we have reached another website birthday. Yes, today marks the fifth anniversary of the Ken Pierce Media branding and it’s pretty cool to be sharing that as an announcement. You see, this was never really supposed to be what it has ended up being and more changes than can easily be quantified have taken place since launch and here we are. For this fifth website anniversary I’m going to take you through all of the building blocks to allow for an easier digestion of our history. I wanted to present this a little differently this time around and the revisiting helps me remember how much has changed from the original plan. Let’s get this recap rolling from the beginning which was a very simple bare bones Blogspot account.

When this idea came to my mind, I had felt that I could make a little extra money by guiding people out of the Blogger platform and onto something more malleable and functional like WordPress or Square Space. As most creative types know, Blogspot is not really considered to be the most powerful of options to do any kind of blogging or even establishing ones brand in a professional manner. A lot of people use it but there are more negatives than positives on this choice. The initial goal was to use Blogger as the scratch pad but after some consideration I felt that by posting to it I’d get more adept at it and be able too successfully guide potential clients away from it. This part of the puzzle still runs and today holds more than 2K links to stories on PiercingMetal, The Chronicles of Piercing Ken and even on the Official KPM WordPress. There’s been some thought about sunsetting this part once it reaches 3K posts but I am still pretty far away from that. The next part of the branding that would to come to be was via the Tumblr account.

Ken Pierce Media Celebrates Its Fourth Anniversary (2020-2024)

Greetings my fine friends out there in the readership audience. I’m here once more to take a pause from the usual course of business to celebrate a website birthday. Believe it or not, today marks the fourth anniversary of the Ken Pierce Media brand and while much of the past year has been a steady as they go operation, there have been some additional efforts that help keep this angle growing and becoming a larger and more important piece of the creative puzzle. Before I continue along, let me share something with the newer visitors to the site since they might not know about it only being created and launched back in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The lockdown and absence of pretty much all activity found me not only working in earnest on older site items for PiercingMetal and “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” but also looking to deliver some good content via another means. The initial goal was to generate some consultancy money by helping others with their own blogs and sites and the other side was to help grow the other two sites under my creative command. It began as a simple Blogspot, then subsumed our long-standing PiercingMetal Tumblr and finally became the WordPress site that you are now reading. Now you are all caught up and on we go. When I wrap this all up I’ll share a few of the topical articles about the whole thing for the interested. Let’s continue along shall we…

Ken Pierce Media Celebrates Its Third Anniversary (2020-2023)

Hello my friends, it’s once again time to take a pause from the usual course of business to celebrate a website birthday. I’m excited to share the news that today is the third anniversary of the Ken Pierce Media brand and a lot has happened with it over the last year so let’s chat. As many know, this idea was launched in June of 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic as a tool to help me with some web-consulting. I had hoped to use the lockdown time to offer up some help with other creators websites and their social media accounts for a modest stipend since there were no shows, conventions or special events of any kind to attend in real life. The idea first manifested as a Blogspot which is a super bare bones medium to use when one doesn’t want to lay down cash for a professional level website or branding. I think I also mentioned that I planned on using this as a place to learn how to take creator content off of such a medium and get it into a more powerful tool like WordPress. The Blogspot’s name led me to using it for the takeover of the PiercingMetal Tumblr and then a full on WordPress was launched which integrated all of that Tumblr stuff and we were off and running. Ken Pierce Media Celebrates Its Second Anniversary (2020-2022)

Greetings readers I am taking a pause from the usual posts of the day to celebrate what amounts to being the second online anniversary of the still growing outlet known as Ken Pierce Media. The newbies to this branding should be aware that I launched this in June of 2020 during the height of the pandemic as a tool to help me with some web-consulting. I’ve built up some WordPress trainer level skills thanks to all the friends I’ve helped along the way and felt that learning some tricks in the Google Blogger medium would be of benefit as well and likely find me teaching people to upgrade their own online presence. The initial plan was just to have an empty blog to use to poke around and be able to help then out but after looking at the name I decided upon a few times I began adding posts to it. Despite the lack of well, everything, by June 2020 the two websites were posting on an almost daily basis. My original announcement is shared once again in a link that leads you to “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” by clicking HERE). I thought a lot was accomplished during the first year but wow did the second one blow that out of the doors.

Ken Pierce Media Celebrates Its First Anniversary (2020-2021)

It was back in June of 2020, during the height of the pandemic that a new creative angle came to my mind. I was finalizing some private consulting for a fellow scribe and their own medium at the time and while they were also a WordPress acolyte, I felt that it might be beneficial to become more accustomed to other means of blogging and that was when I began tinkering with the Google Blogger platform a bit more. Since the best way to learn is to utilize, I launched a blog called Ken Pierce Media and introduced it to the masses (as seen on “The Chronicles” HERE). A lot has happened since that time and today is the first anniversary of that website.
