Ken Pierce Media Thoughts: So before I get started on this closing, I think some of you might be wondering why I posted it on KPM as opposed to PiercingMetal or “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” and the answer is simple. The subject matter crosses and interweaves between those two so why not use our Executive Branch for it all. I’ll probably be doing this from time to time. This sure sounds like a cool idea to do and right off the bat I see a number of artists that I love checking out in concert. The readers of my Metal side of the fence know that I mean KISS, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Slipknot and Coheed and Cambria but truth be told there are a number of non-Rock or Metal acts that I like in the list. Of course being a scribe and photographer finds me reaching out the respective camps in order to do show reports but who knows how a lot of that will be worked out after so much loss in the entertainment industry. I’ll cross my fingers and since I’m being honest I can say that I’ve only managed to see one brief concert and two movies since this all began last March 2020. The show was KISS and so was one of the movies as a part of the Tribeca Festival while the other movie was “Black Widow” but that is it my friends. I don’t know when I will be adventuring out again since the world is still a pretty precarious place but I digress. What do you readers think about this announcement and which of these concerts are you most keen on attending? Chime in down below to let me know and as I close this up I ask you all to keep safe and masked and distanced and get that vaccine to move us closer to some kind of normal once again.
