Greetings friends and those who are TikTokking along with the Ken Pierce Media profile on the TikTok platform. I’ve hit another plateau and reached the increment a little faster as I had expected since I was doing more than one clip per day. Effective immediately there are now a grand total of “850” videos on the account and this latest one comes from a recent visit to the Five Below store not far from Union Square. I was off to an art event at the time and it was here that I managed to get my hands on the complete set of Janda’s “Transformers” MetalFigs. There are only four of them and since they had the lot and for such a nice price I could not resist. You can see for yourself as I proudly present the 850th TikTok from Ken Pierce Media.
As has become my standard practice in these kinds of milestone alerts, I always like to add an additional couple of videos that I would love the viewing audience to see and with TikTok heading towards a sunset here in the USA, I don’t want to stop doing that as the sand gets closer to running out in the hourglass. This time around I’ve decided to speak to each of the inclusions individually for better storytelling and I don’t think you will mind. First up is a Foodie clip or a “FOODTIKTOK” as they get tagged on the platform showcasing my having obtained the very last box of “Franken Berry” from the Target Outlet on Union Square. Though I don’t eat this kind of cereal anymore as a rule to avoid the excess sugar, it was around Halloween that I found them all and decided to do some fun videos for them. Truth be told I have not had this kind of cereal in probably more than forty years. The “Count Chocula” and “Boo Berry” videos are elsewhere in my feed so do please scroll around for them as well.

Next up comes a bit of sadness for any of the pub crawlers of New York City that are browsing my feed. It was around the time of the recent Iron Maiden tour when a good friend said that he was getting into the city at a certain time and would pop into Smith’s Bar for a couple of rounds before heading to the show. Though I don’t drink anymore, the pub was surely a favorite of my friends and I before shows in the region. We often started and finished the night at Smith’s Bar. He found it shuttered and I went to the area to confirm the sad news. Thanks for the memories Smith’s Bar. You shall be missed.
Sticking with the usual format to keep a sense of consistency, I am fairly certain that the next plateau will be achieved in about thirty days. I’ve been doing my best to post a couple each day and some rare occasions even doing three but it is sometimes hard to maintain course with everything else that is going on. The followers are now above “400” which is nice to see but of course with me I have the frame of mind where “more is more” as opposed to “less is more”. Remember that I have to complete with hundreds of thousands of similar vibe content creators when all is said and done so any time that you spend here and engage with it the better. The overall “Likes” that the main page of the profile shows is over 14K now which is awesome but again “more is more” which means if you see a video please click the heart to move the needle higher. I’d love to reach at least “500” followers and “15K” Likes before the ban arrives but only you can help with that. Now I know that the next section is usually the statistics for the recent point in time but I’ve been so mentally backlogged that I didn’t capture it or feel like talking about it. Part of that mindset is from the looming ban and wondering what will happen to these 850 videos.
So I’ve pointed out how discouraging the ban of this method of entertaining the masses will be and I am wondering how it will happen. Sure we still have a month or two of use so I am going to try and get as many of the videos still sitting on “The TikTok Phone” uploaded for you to enjoy so I am not going to let it consume me just yet. In my last couple of milestone posts I stressed how important it was for you to get out and vote and if you watched any of the proceedings you know that Donald J. Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in a landslide decision of “312” Electoral Votes over “226”. If you didn’t vote you cannot legitimately complain about this if it bothers you. Its up to you as US citizens that use the app to start mailing and calling those representatives on either side who will be compromising something that you likely enjoy using and that is as political as I will get. With this latest plateau being reached in the middle of November I can very likely hit another one before the year is out but its everyone’s guess beyond that. As I wrap this one up I am mentally wondering what the next plateau video might be and since I am going to be heading out to my annual Christmas In NYC” pilgrimage it just might be one of those but who knows.
