Hello there my fine Friends of the Ken Pierce Media realm, as anticipated since the last time that this was done, its once again time to let you know that the Official TikTok for KPM has achieved another one of its plateaus and another “50” clips have gone online. Pressing “publish” on the 700th clip is rather cool since that is a good increment to hit. It’s a clip that also celebrates something that we love very much which is “The Hottest Band In The World” KISS. This particular one was a relatively cool find because it was one of those Walmart exclusives I think and I found it on eBay as a complete set. The folks at Figpin had made a “Love Gun” set of the band some years ago and then followed up with a “Double Platinum” edition. Believe it or not, “Double Platinum” was one of the first KISS records that I owned based on my vintage and while I don’t have a Walmart nearby my home, finding this set on eBay for an irresistible price made it a must have. I recorded this clip shortly after they arrived so here now is Clip #700 on The Official Ken Pierce Media TikTok.

So if you’ve been checking in with us when we do these kinds of posts you know what’s coming up next but if you are on the newer side this will be totally new information for you. A few milestones ago, I decided that I would also share two more TikTok posts that I either liked a whole lot or were ones that I felt could use a little more attention. For this time around I am posting some comic book stuff with the first clip being shot on location at Midtown Comics where I shared the brand-new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series debut and a wealth of the variant covers that were being published. The next share is something I’ve been doing for some weeks now and called our “Comic Book Acquisitions” clip. It’s here I like to share what we are adding to the collection. While I don’t purchase like I used to years ago, I still like some first issues and an occasional limited series. It’s my hope that these kinds of videos are inspiring other collectors to head to their local comic book stores and grab a few issues of some of the awesome comics that are hitting the racks. I also hope that you liked these two clips.

Sticking to format I’ll keep with stating that I never know when the next plateau will be hit but it will be in almost 50 days for sure. I’ve also mentioned that I will generally only do one video post each day but there are some times when the activity necessitates that I do another one. This model seems to give me about “7” milestone posts for the year which is pretty cool. Since I am hitting this in early August I can tell you that I have three amazing shows on the schedule with the NY NOW Summer Market, the Curve Expo and Anime NYC which has moved to the summer for this years event. Considering the overall amount of events to attend I might need to revisit this one TikTok post a day mindset. I’ve been capturing all of these videos on my old Google Pixel 4 mobile device and it seems like I have about “70” clips recorded just waiting to be shared. Don’t worry about me running out of space because once the video premieres I delete it from the device a day or so later. So now onto some numbers. For Post #700, I decided to do a “60” day historical rundown and that one makes the most sense since it takes about “50” days for me to reach the increment. Overall this is pretty good and I am happy with the 58K views in that timeframe along with the profile views. I do wish the likes and comments were higher and of course the new followers but some battles take time.
I’m going to wrap this one up now but before I make my exit stage left, I want to thank you for any of the interest that you show to our Official TikTok profile. As far as social media platforms go, the TikTok is one of the main ones for the Ken Pierce Media side of the fence because we don’t have an Instagram for this angle. We welcome all the shares or being saved as a favorite and thank those who’ve done that over the last few months. The chatter about the platform under government scrutiny has slowed down and I’m glad since I would hate to lose this many videos. According to some research there are currently 150 Million active TikTok users in the USA. That’s a whole lot to compete with so we do appreciate the love.
