Well how about that my friends out there in TikTok land. It seems as though I’m back once again with another step up on the platform and for those who’ve just joined us over here, I am talking about reaching another increment of “50” videos on the TikTok Social Media network. Now to be honest, this is a big one as we have just posted the “1000th” video to our feed and historically speaking have been using this since September of 2022. I created an account on the network at the beginning of 2021 but at that time was just using it to like any of the posts that my friends were doing. I will admit that I went into this quite reluctantly as I didn’t see my brands being something that was Tokworthy. I changed my mind after some discussion with like-minded peers and my having the account under Ken Pierce Media let’s me have a little more creative freedom. So as many of the PiercingMetal readers know, we are always excited when it comes to the band KISS and having these topical items about the band marking our 1000th Video on TikTok was awesome.

I’m not sure if I should repeat myself here or if you’ve been paying regular attention to know that this is the part where I shine a spotlight on a couple of other videos for one reason or another. Since I know that I’ve mentioned that a video gets throttled every once in awhile for who knows why, I’ve decided to add one of those down here for you to lend some love. For awhile now, I’ve been sharing what I call the Comic Book Acquisitions videos where I share the items purchased from the local comic book shop. This batch had some truly amazing titles in it such as “Spider-Gwen” and the new “Doctor Doom” limited series so I was legitimately bummed that it didn’t get the reception that it should have. Until now where I count on our Followers and beyond to lend it the proper love.

The next inclusion had actually done fairly well when all things were considered as it had about 1000+ views already when I decided to include it. This comes from the Toy Fair that I had attended a few weeks ago and was the set up in the Mattel Pavilion. I didn’t manage to secure an appointment with the company at the Toy Fair but they had this amazing 80th Birthday product display. How could any self-respecting media let that pass them by. As I’ve pointed out quite a few times already, I cannot ever be sure as to when the next plateau will be reached and one as to wonder will I even keep doing these kinds of posts now that I hit the 1000th. If you answered “of course I will” then you are correct because why stop. In the TikTok realm, I get to watch all the things that the Influencers do and they love talking about what they’ve reached and how many this, that or the other thing they have achieved and I figure if that is good enough for them then I can learn by the example. It’s also fun reaching each new increment and then reflecting on some other videos posted during that timeframe. Truth be told I never thought that I would enjoy using TikTok for the outlets but over the past couple of years its become one of my favorite things to use. The likes of these videos has surpassed 15K and keeps on climbing. We could use more followers but nowadays I have noticed that people watch and click the heart without committing to a full time dedication. That works against what I am doing but I can only argue so much about it. If you are following along we appreciate the time you spend. I ask that you engage a little more since its fun to see comments on these posts and I will answer them. Also it doesn’t hurt to show your friends who might be on Tok as well.
