Ken Pierce Media Celebrates First Year On TikTok

Greetings my friends, I am here to take a moment out of your day to share some social media news as it applies to the Ken Pierce Media outlet. So as you probably already know from related posts, we are greatly enjoying the fun of the TikTok Universe and making the posts apply to activity on PiercingMetal, Piercing Ken and of course here on the KPM Dotcom. It was about a year ago that I first dove into use of the profile that I had actually signed up for back in October of 2020. Based on the pandemic and all the numerous cancellations that had happened I wasn’t really doing many things that would have been perfect for such a medium and as result it just sat there. Fast forward to September 2022 and my receiving the press badge for the New York Comic Con, I said to myself that it was now time to get down to business with this very popular network. The very first go at this is embedded below for reminder sake.

While I am by no means an expert at this network even after using it for a full year, I’ve been enjoying using it and to keep it in play with our readers of the website, began doing posts when we hit certain numbers. I’m talking about posts for a 25th, a 50th, a 100th and so on. Every time that the account reaches another “50” posts, I talk about it right here. I find that by doing this I am being more engaged with the platform itself and also more involved in the Ken Pierce Media website which is all about content. The site itself is closing in on having published its 6000th post and that’s pretty cool. Now since I didn’t have a brand-new post to showcase on the actual first anniversary of using TikTok post to use, I went back a day and shared one of the numerous posts that were done at the Affordable Art Fair. This is the work of an artist named Greg Creason who I’ve met before and always enjoy seeing at this fair.

In the year that I’ve been using TikTok, I’ve been trying to be creative with the ideas being put out there. While I don’t make any fancy clips since I really never bothered to learn how, I am posting on a regular basis and really trying to bring you into our day as best as possible. So far, all of the videos have been less than a minute long and I do that by design so I can use the same clip on the other major networks we have of Instagram and YouTube. The plan is to add more and more kinds of clips and include more comic book stuff, unboxing things and arrivals at assorted events like concerts, conventions and trade shows. It helps us immensely when you click the “<3" on the posts and even more so when you choose to follow the account. I haven't found a whole lot of comments coming in just yet but if you feel that you'd like to add something to the mix, please do so. There is always a chance that someone reading your submission will go and check out your own account and maybe they'll even follow you if you are up to some interesting things. If you are already following Ken Pierce Media on TikTok, I say "thanks a whole lot". I've just passed the 300th video clip and there are several big happenings coming down the pike which should find me reaching the next plateau faster than I might do when there is nothing happening. See you next time. Let's have some fun here. Follow Us ----> Ken Pierce Media on TikTok
