What Are YouTube Shorts?
YouTube Shorts is a short-form video-sharing platform offered by YouTube. The platform hosts user content much like YouTube’s primary service, but limits pieces to 60 seconds in length. Since its launch, YouTube Shorts has accumulated over 5 trillion views. (c/o Wiki)
With the overall impact that YouTube has on outlets like our own I was not going to let this new angle go unexamined and though its definitely a bit tricky to get ones clip to be no more than the 60 seconds, I dropped my very first one just the other day to talk up receiving the New York Comic Con press badge for the PiercingMetal Channel. This feed will likely end up with the most videos once I figure out how best to work it for my adventures on this site.
Having just achieved a second anniversary for the Piercing Ken YouTube Channel I figured this was the best way to do a first Short for that outlet. While this particular Channel is long overdue, you can peruse the other content and see that we are really doing our best to make up for lost time.
At the time of my broadcasting the brand usage of the YouTube Shorts there are NO Shorts currently posted on my Ken Pierce Media Channel and my long-standing original Personal Channel but I will be doing some as soon as I figure how each avenue is best approached. There are longer form videos of course on these and the other two for viewers to enjoy. These other Channels are reachable in the hyperlinked text while the others have their videos that should lead you to a means of sticking with us and please know that all subscribers are welcome along with topical comments that work within whatever context of the videos. Please know that YouTube requires you to have 100 subs to claim proper URL’s and 1000 subs to achieve any monetization so please know your efforts help the larger cause and we CANNOT do this without your brand loyalty. I will be doing my best to keep all the assorted Channels in this little KPM world interesting and entertaining. Thanks for reading, and now its onto the next thing.
